    Default The "other" combat challenge?

Yesterday I responded to a call that involved pushing a 300 pound woman in a broken down motorized wheelchair home to her apartment. It got me thinking....What if there was a combat challenge with events that represented not fireground tasks, but the other grueling yet less glamorous jobs we perform? What would that combat challenge look like?

I submit two events for your consideration

    5-block heavy patient wheelchair push
4th floor squirming patient stair chair descent

    any thoughts for other events?

The 2-man 400 pound patient squat and lift to a standing position.
Cover a 200# dummy (living or dead with puke and **** and carry them.
Oh... and maneuver a stretcher with a patient on it through a narrow, cluttered house with 2'-6" wide hallways.

    Drunkenese translation event
    What is that??? object identification
The >20 ft long, 2 ft wide hallway limp patient in a blanket carry.
The patient won't lay flat and insists on hanging over one edge of the stretcher and then the other side stretcher maneuvering event
Stretcher prep and compartment decon since you've been given another run prior to finishing the first one - Speed event
