    Default 2003-2007 AFG Statistics

AFG release a compilation of award fund statistics today for 2003-2007. Good to see that SCBA and PPE (personal safety) are high up there -- some other surprising numbers to take a look at though.

    The reports can be found:

Top notch report. Showed that funding is being awarded to the right priorities.

A legendary myth busted: Brian may have been awarded the first rescue, but not the only one.

I know from 2007 AFG some of the 'other' was SCBA upgrades to the new standard since they don't have an item in the dropdown for that. I saw some people's apps had 'head to toe PPE' under the Other category also.

Knew I wasn't the lone rescue, but the first heavy until 2007. I know of a medium duty in 2004 for sure, probably some others sprinkled in there. A few quick attacks were submitted as rescues also. Like anything else the reports are only as indicative as the underlying data. It's a nerd thing.
