Do you really think your gonna have time for this forum in the academy??? Kiss it bye bye. Have your head in the books not on this garbage. When you think you had enough reading flip the page and read some more. I dont know if some of you really know what is in store for you. GOod luck.

Greetings, future Brothers. I've been checking in on these forums for a couple weeks now, and have been both impressed and grateful to the usefullness of the information and advice I've found here. I'll be starting tomorrow with the rest of you, and I'm sure I'm not the only one both totally psyched and more than a little nervous; the day is at long last, finally here.
But it's unfortunately a problem that forced me to sign up, and I was wondering if anyone here might have any advice for me. Less than a week ago, I started getting some pretty bad headaches while doing pushups. They tend to start 2/3 through a set of 30, a painful throbbing towards the back of the skull, that eventually forces me to stop. It only happens when I do pushups, and I've NEVER had this problem before a few days ago.
The timing really couldn't be worse. I'm hoping it'll stop on it's own, but at this point I need all the advice I can get. If anyone here's had any kind of similar experience, I'd be much obliged for your help.
See you in the pre-dawn, Brothers.

Week one. How do the rest of you guys feel it went? My squad has a couple guys that I would say need some help physically, and although it's unfortunate, I'm not sure if they can be helped. We're gonna try to push em through and I hope we can turn em around. Other than that, I can't wait to really start next week, I'm really looking forward to learning stuff hands on and in the classroom.

Calm... judging from today, maybe the 'calm' parts over... Storm, do you know how long the physical benchmarks for remedial pt have been in place?

Looking back, Im surprised at how sore I am for what seems like a really small amount of PT. I guess it was lugging that bag around? Spending eight hours a day completely puckered over whats going to happen next probably doesnt help. I do feel the same way you do about next week. Im stoked about the whole thing; getting my hands dirty, learning some new stuff, and actually working WITH the other guys.
Im definitely looking forward to the challenges.
