I just have to show up at noon on Saturday to take the CPAT since they apparently don't honor past CPAT passing.

When you take the written, you will take the CPAT immediately afterwards. That's my understanding of it. I've already taken the CWH test and passed within the last year so I'm not allowed to take it again so I only have to show up for the CPAT.

From what I read on the website, you TOUR the CPAT site immediately after. This allows you to see where it is, what the events are, etc. You do not take the CPAT immediately after. They offer a period where they will mentor you and allow you to practice prior to taking the CPAT (typically about 10 weeks later).
You may want to call to see if they will accept a CPAT certificate from another jurisdiction. I would assume that if they accept a pass on the test, they will accept a pass on the CPAT.
Good luck to you guys!!

a tour of the CPAT?! Ugh...
I know they won't take my CPAT passing score, I asked them about it the last time I called and they said you have to retake it with them. Kind of a pain for me to haul it up there just to take a tour of the facilities I've already seen and passed else where but whatever. I guess I'll have to be there one way or another.
