Chiefs and those in leadership positions

This is a very interesting device, and I can see some uses for it in a emergency situation. but with that being said it has problems.

1. what is going to happen when the bean counters see some thing like this and say "hey we can cut our department in half with some of these". We all know how the bean counters think.

2. Cost, the cost I would say would stop MANY departments, with budget cuts all around many departments are struggling just to get basic items many times.


now don't get me wrong if you have some one trapped in a house fire or a firefighter down in a house fire it would be worth it, that is provided it does not also harm them which I did not read into enough to see.

Thank you I'll pass and leave the suppression to the traditional ways and save the money for more greatly needed items that our department needs.
