    Default Fowlers Drill

Does anyone have any information regarding Capt Fowler (FDNY) and scenario based training or Powerpoints? I know there's the Nance and the Denver Drills out there, but I haven't found anything on this topic. Even tried the basement rescue in google and nothing. Thanks again guys stay safe out there.

The only powerpoints that I know of are from the "when things go bad" guys out of Clearwater. It wasn't in STAR @ BFA when I took it (a good few years ago). Have you tried youtube for video of it? Hernando County has a youtube video of some RIT training they did and it more than likely has some stills of the drill.

    Default Gotta Love Youtube

Ok, I did some looking on youtube. The video I was thinking about did not have anything on the Fowler's drill. Here is a video of the drill with some modifications.

We trained to do this without any tools. All we did was the top guy grabbed the SCBA (after making it into a harness) and the bottom guy got into a crawling position and put the victims legs over his shoulders. It's not pretty and the subject of a lot of teasing in training, but it works great. I'd call someone at the Broward Academy, they should have something.
