    Does anyone know who Administers the 1-800-Fire-Line number for NJ and how to register a department?

    Yeah, i looked there, and firecorps. There was a lot of information about getting your state registered with fireline, but not a whole lot about getting your individual dept. registered, or how its supposed to work.

    When I called the number (1800-fire-line) I got a "thank you for calling NJ fireline".. answering machine asking for me to leave a message. I was at least hoping/expecting to be asked to enter my zip code and get transferred to the local dept or something.

    NJ Div of Fire Safety runs the NJ section of this. Your department should have information on file with Division for contact information. Call the # and leave a message. They will call you back. If you are a officer in the department they will allow you to update information that they have on file.
