Hi there. First off my name is Greg. I am currently an EMT-B in Jacksonville, FL. I work for a private transport service and enjoy it very much. I was planning on attending Fire Academy as soon as I had the funding but was recently informed that Camden County is hiring people without any certs. and will put you through fire school in GA. I am very interested in this and am curious as to how true this is. I am also curious if anyone has an idea of the average salary for an EMT/FF in Camden County. Money is not my biggest priority but I would like to have a general idea. Any information anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated.
