Default Why don't they just e-mail us?

After my kabillionth log-in session to check for 1199a's, I am wondering again:

Wouldn't it save Uncle FEMA a lot of bandwidth if the primary contact received an e-mail when the 1199a was posted? That way we wouldn't all be logging in to every application 86 times a day.

I do not believe the award number on the 1199's are placed there as a game for us. There were just some really nerdy people in the grant writing industry that figured out the early stages of an award!!! Now the trend has caught on and we all look like a bunch of nerds chewing our fingers and checking hourly. Good luck clicking.

I know what you're saying, that we aren't necessarily supposed to go dig up the 1199a on our own. I know that at least at one time, the 10Q's directed us to go to the app and update it.

But all of us nerds have figured it out, so I still think it'd be worth their while to send us an e-mail.

I think that Nancy Pelosi also sent DHS home for a 5 week vacation.

Since when did saving Unlce Sam anything become a reason for them to do anything that is just plain common sense? LOL!
