?
Does ERT mean emergency response team? Does that mean you're a firefighter for the site? Where is the site located? Just trying to make the connection to what you posted and why it's posted here.

It is considered a fire/security position, however, I have heard mixed things about Lockheed, I was just wanting to get an opinion from someone who works or has worked there. its located in waterton canyon colorado... From what the recruiter told me I think I will like it, however I thought I would like my last job too, so it never hurts seeing how other people liked it.

Lockheed Martin info
Hi Adam, I came across a couple posts from you referring to Lockheed Martin and Denver. I am a Firefighter in the St. Louis area getting ready to relocate to the Denver area and I have my Resume and appl in at Lockheed Martin. Can you give me any info on Lockheed Martin and what the ERT position is like? Thanks in advance, any info would be appreciated. Matt

PPES Investigation
Previously, there was a posting here responding to someones inquiry of working for Lockheed Martin Plant Protection.
To sum up the original posting in a nut shell; it basically stated that unless you're unemployment benefits are just about to expire and you have no other options, then maybe should consider it. Otherwise, stay as far away as possible because...
-You will be a Security Guard
-You'll become another casualty of the vindictive management
-Horrible scheduling
-0% Work/Home Life Balance
-You will spend entire shifts directing traffic and checking IDs while you're posted in a tiny guard shack that has no climate control (heat or a/c)
-You will receive minimal training
-The training you do receive is not worth the paper you have to sign stating that you received it
-Morale is lower in this organization than anywhere you'll ever experience
The benefits are great and the pay is ok. But, there are alot of people that have left / are leaving for less money and benefits for the simple reason that the working conditions and management of this organization are unbearable.Last edited by Jadedone; 07-09-2009 at 01:53 PM.

by the way
management is on the prowl. they could be preparing for upcoming burn weeks but they'd rather investigate.
