The second annual poker run benefit ride for paralyzed Firefighter Derek Poole who was seriously injured in a vehicle accident returning from an emergency call on March 25, 2007, will be held September 13, 2008 starting at Tilley Harley-Davidson in Statesville, North Carolina riding to multiple locations around the area and ending up at the Catawba fire Department with a meal to be served. Last year's event consisted of about 150 miles and around 135 bikers .
