Yes it is. Also need to make sure that isnt just the base wage. Sometimes the auto OT/FLSA is shown on a different line or next to the salary on the flyer. There is LOTS of un-scheduled OT depending on here you work. I recommend you searching "Riverside County Fire" on the net. Lastly- There are hundreds of FF2 Medics living well on that pay, I am sure you can too.

ALSO- IMPORTANT. PLease understand this is a BIG state and the "Cost of Living" monster is very over rated in these boards. California is livable and not some over priced financial night mare like some make it out to be in here.

Yes, you might not be able to live in the high rent areas, but it is livable here.
