I just saw this on there website. Position is for FF Trainee. Requirements are CPAT within 6 months and I think EMT 1. There fire website shows a new ladder truck being manned in 2009. That could mean several more openings.

LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Valid California Class C driver’s license.
Incumbents must obtain a California Class B driver’s license before the end of probation.
Valid Emergency Medical Technician I Certification.
Candidates must submit proof, prior to the conditional offer of employment, of successful completion of the Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT), within the past six-months.
