Anyone got any good RIT class powerpoints or MADAY stuff? I am trying to do a class and I am looking for some new materials. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mayday
I'm working on a RIT class I'll send it when completed. As for the Mayday, go to fema's website and request the "Calling the Mayday" cd. It's FREE! and it's a good class.

I would appreciate a copy too, I was supposed to attend a RIT class this weekend, but can't due to other committments, so this is the next best thing.

I got a RIT powerpoint from a fellow forum member a while back. It's some good training material. If you still need a copy of something like this send me an email at cvilledragons6@yahoo.com saying you want a copy of the RIT powerpoint and I will get it to you soon as I can.

Have to be honest with you- that webcast on firehouse right now on the techniques was really good. More about self rescue but with a really fantastic RIT component. I think it's definitely worth a look- and it's in its own powerpoint format.
Anyways, just a thought. I was so impressed by it I bought the book and the book, I must add, is fantastic.Ian "Eno" McLeod

I forgot to mention that fireengineering.com has a few training videos on different RIT ops.

not to pick on you, but every week, there is someone on here asking for someone to send them a video, powerpoint, training program about something. Did it ever occur to people to make your own program up? that power point might hit home a little bit more if there are pictures of your guys in it. show it with your equipment, tools, etc.
Dont get me wrong, I am all for sharing ideas and spreading the wealth of knowledge, but it just seems like alot of people here are looking for a quick fix cause they have to teach a class tonight at 1900 and they havent done their homework.Your a daisy if you do.

Can I have a copy also please, and to the last post we do make our own training classes but like to view as many as we can to see if someone else is doing something a little different that we may like. I know the east coast does things different from the west coast and Im sure we do it our way in Texas. Yea some people get lazy and dont do what they are suppose to.
