My friend, intellectuals don't read magazines and newspapers. They go straight to the reports and research and read them for themselves.
That has got to be the dumbest thing you've posted in at least the last two days.

What a dumb thing to focus on, and just further proof of how desperate the liberal media are to blunt the impact that this VP candidate has had on this election.
She's was supposed to be a journalism major and she can't name even one newspaper or periodical that she reads regularly?? USA Today? Wall Street Journal? National Geographic? Newsweek? US News and World Report? Time? Smithsonian? People? Washington Post? New York Times? National Enquirer? Playboy? Anything???
    Nice.

    Why the obsession?

Again, this is a really stupid thing to focus on, but knock yourself out.

    Why the obsession?
No obsession on my part. I think that term better describes anyone who would think of voting for Palin, because given the recent proof that she is a complete snow job, one would have to be totally obsessed to continue to defend her. Now on the other hand, it is funny. You can't buy this kind of entertainment.

Yet you have immediate and blind allegiance to Joe Biden and Barack Obama and defend them (along with every other Liberal/Democrat) without fail, rarely addressing anything against them, only demeaning and belittling the person who asks it of you. Just as hypocritical as scfire86. Perhaps more.

Nozz. Here I must give you an atta boy. You have your convictions and stay with them. But my friend you are obsessed. Not with Palin but with saying and doing anything that you think will help your man Obama. Good for you. Just try to every once and a while keep the fangs in. sarcasm and cruelty are not always necessary

Great a bunch of liberal sources. Real research provides far better information. And guess what, most research is unbiased.

USA Today and the WSJ are NOT considered liberal sources.

    Your ignorance continues.

Typically nonsense. USA Today most certainly is a leftwing rag. OK perhaps pretends to be "moderate" or in the closet.

WSJ is not at all the responsible nonpartisan business periodical of even a few years ago. The infestation of "journalism school" grads is similar to most other big time newspapers. Perhaps some area a bit brighter than the average at the NYT or AP but still libs. The old time JOURNALISTS are long gone.

Only according to folks like you. Reading the Op-Ed pages will tell an individual with any sense you have no idea what you're talking about. Are you Scarecrows twin?

Really? Apparently you have not been reading the reports regarding the WSJ and its history. Nor its editiorial pages.

Oh, they may be more moderate then most, but hardly conservative.

It's now a month later since this post. Since folks like you were all happy and excited at how the polls indicated a resurgence of the McCain campaign I'm thinking the "wow" factor has faded.

The McCain/Palin ticket is behind in every major poll including the ones considered conservative.

It still not a runaway, in fact in the last two days, there has been a bit of a bump up for McCain.

The race has been slightly closer on both of these two individual days (Oct. 3-4) than the previous two days. Obama held particularly large leads over McCain from Oct. 1-2, possibly resulting from Americans' focus on the Wall Street financial crisis and congressional rescue plan dominating the news at that time. Since then, support for Obama has remained about the same, at the 49% to 50% level, while support for McCain has increased slightly, with an associated decline in the percentage of undecided voters.

Considering that McCain had pulled even after announcing Palin your statement means he had fallen that much further just three days ago.

No election will be a runaway by virtue of registration. McCain has to fight to keep several battleground states that were slam dunks for Bush. Obama only needs to win one. And right now he is leading in places like OH, NV, NM, and is close in MO.

The only poll that really counts will be taken November 4th.Make sure you go vote the way you want to and I'll go vote my convictions.

I guess the true story is we shall see. 4 November 2008 is the poll that will show the will of the people, sort of.

It's all about momentum, and today (and this will change back and forth) is with McCain. It's those undecided that will make the winner, and McCain's increase is from their ranks.
