Don't be too sure, snowed in Houston for the first time in 5 years when you were getting dumped on in Dallas.

Hope you stay away from KY for a while and let us melt out. we only got about 13" but the road departments around here don't have a clue on how to prepare, and the people must have never driven in snow before. But heck, I had to go up to Earl's just for my kids to get to play in their first snow. But we made up for it sledding the last couple of days. We only have a few thousand without power right now. I was considering going up to Ryans for class, but Illinois in January, I might have to put studded snow tires on the excursion...

Any idea how the West to East interstate through Tennessee is? Will be traveling through on Saturday and Sunday. If I have to go to the gulf coast and east to get to Fort Bragg I will.

If you plan to take I-40 out of Knoxville across NC add two hours. I-40 is closed from TN line to Asheville NC due to rock slides in the gorge. Will be closed till Feb. last word. Run 40 from Knoxville to I-81 to Johnson City TN then down I-26 back to Asheville then 40 over towrds Fayettville.

BC79er no wonder you have been noticeably absent. OUCH! How far did the screw gun get tossed and what got damaged as a result of that!

Didn't toss it since I was finishing up the new drywall in the attic/hot water heater open space to turn it into a closet for the wife's teaching stuff and books. Would have either needed a major patch job on the new stuff or it would have gone into the attic space over the living room, and being a 19V Craftsman Cordless it would have gone through the ceiling into the living room.
I tend to only throw tools outside where it won't get me into more trouble.
And been tough getting on here from the new casa because AT&T isn't sure we exist. They can't get our order from sales over to installation because of some error no one has ever seen before in their system. 5 weeks and counting with that fun, that was the whole reason I started early with trying to get them to install right close to settlement. So much for trying to be ahead of the game...

Sounds like the Icemans reputation is still working!
colder in Florida today than Maine.
Even rumors of snow in the sunshine state later in the week.
