Just a heads up for many of you "seasoned" writers out there but, in repsonse to requests from a few of you, I have now added a new class offerring for this year in "grant management". Its being taught by one of the top 5 people that DHS has recognized in grants administration for large public safety agency. There are three classes already on the website for this course and I can couple it in with a regular workshop for anyone intertested this year. Have regular workshops at agencies in MS, KS, NY, MD,IL and GA on the schedule now.

Well at least there won't be any snow in Jackson, MS this Thursday and Friday as I head out on the inaugural tour this year. Just checked out the situation in Nashville after the flooding and it looks like things are getting back to normal enough to go ahead and plan the 2011 AFG Summit for there, as everyone wanted from Tampa, this coming year. Looks like it will be March 10,11,12. Stay tuned for details.

    Kurt,

Would you mind posting the link to your website again? I need to make sure I have it in my bookmarks.

Am trying to get our mutual aid society prepped for the summit, management and the 'grants retainer.' They're crying that the money is tight, like everyone else. Creating a sense of urgency to act is no longer just a sales technique, because our timeline is truly getting short.

Well, no snow in Jackson, MS; fancy that. Maybe the curse is broken; probabaly not though. Added bonus was MS State Faior was right across the street fmr hotel there so got to see some big name entertainment onte cheap and the food, outta sight! Silver Spring, MD up next on Nv 4-5. Let's see if I can hold back the "snow curse" a little longer.

Why is it that PA always wants me to come in the dead of winter to Johnstown? LOL I can't win! Looks like Feb19-20th at Westwood VFC in Johnstown ( no not Sly's dept.) Hopefully the aircraft can at least land in Johnstown at that time of the year and I don't have to drive in from DC during Snowmegeddon again.

Does this mean you do not need anymore classes in PA? Was working on our officers to have one here.

No, # of classes is directly governed by number of students. If they are willing , I will bring it up there.

I've been offering to hold the front for 40 years. Mostly without success.

Hah, other than the "biblical proportioned" traffic jam on the beltway Sat morning I made it out and never saw the first "white rain" fall anywhere near me. Atlanta area up next in December so let's see if I can keep the snow God's at bay there also.
