Kurt
I was worried too that it was an imposter...until he got going. No one can impersonate Kurt Bradley.....he is one of a kind. I also learned that Catfish can be caught while doing tanker operations. I need to get out of the city more often.

That does not mean it was without precipitation as it did rain but, no freezing temps to deal with this time. Tom, that catfishing story was too funny; guess that a strong arguement for not using a trash strainer on the suction line!
Andy don't put your parka away just yet, looks like my class in Epping NH is a go so going to be winging it Northbound right over your head pretty soon! LOL

Wow! I just checked the attendance list for the class at Epping FD in New Hampshire on April 23-24, ...22 students so far. Looks like NH fire departments planning on making a heavy push at AFG this year. This is a big training venue here folks so plenty of room for those of you in New England still sitting on the fence. Last chance to see what's coming at you this coming year .

" For those of you that have been sitting on the fence awaiting the dreaded
DJ we wanted to let you know that we were able to get Kurt to squeeze us in
for last minute class on May 12-13 before AFG open up for 2012 in June. It
will be at Hazleton FD here in the Northeastern Poconos of PA. Any of you who want to
come hear him speak and pick his brain are welcome to come, lots of seats
available and this may be your last chance to see him before 2012 AFG opens.

Getting ready to head your direction this Friday. Hope my experience coming through Philly is better than it was going through to NH a couple of weeks ago. 14 hours in Philly airport is like a death sentence!
Hope the Poconos have some decent spring weather and none of the freak winter storm stuff flying aorund the country right now. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

Well Poconos class went well. Packing the bags to head out to the tip of Washington State in Ferndale. Hope the weather cooperates out there. This is my last class for this year prior to AFG opening so last call folks for this season.

Sounds like I'll be having more fun (not), Phase 1 clearance PT test early Saturday morning, then we're doing the night LandNav course. Which will probably be easier for me since the orange/white signs blend into the green leaves sometimes during the day with the sun behind them. Fun living with color deficient vision. Night course all have glow sticks on the poles so much easier to find.

HHHHMHH partner has been placed on the injured reserve list for awhile and as such looks as though I am going to have to teach one of her classes at Yonkers PD in NY on August 2-3. I know that this is typically a little early for FDs to be thinking about grant training classes but if there are any of you out there looking to take a class before FP&S opens up then here is your first shot for the year. Still room in the class Information here: http://www.firstrespondergrants.com/..._view/class/54
Oh and BTW- I am currenlty accepting reservations for hosting of classes for this fall and coming spring. Get your request in to me early.Last edited by ktb9780; 07-13-2012 at 12:29 PM.

Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 grant class bookings going on right now. Looks like Illinois, Iowa and New Hampshire will be bringing me in. Need some venues out West, down South and Pennsylvania and New York still. Give me a shout while dates are still plentiful.
