    does anyone know what the fuel use and then the mixure is when doing the burn pan method thanks

    The prefered mixture for "slash" fuel in wildland is 3 parts diesel to 1 part gasoline. Easy way to mix this up is to put 1 gallon gas and 3 gallons diesel into a 5 gal jerry can.

    Have you considered going to propane? Put some ribbon burners in the botton and then fill the pan with water and some soap. Gives you the ability to turn off the fire should something go gunnysack.
