Today I climbed in the Richmond remembers stair climb. I climbed for Firefighter John D. Marshall, Engine 23.

May he and all the other 343 rest in peace.
You're memory and that of you're brothers is not and nor will it ever be forgotten.

Attended a memorial ceremony at the firehouse this morning. Reflected on the events of the day and the sacrifice our brothers made. Did a "343" WOD which coincidentally was completed at 3:43. We will never forget!!!

The 343 are my inspiration to become a firefighter.

    13 years.

And so many Americans have forgotten or try to bury it.

As firefighters, may we never allow the sadness and pain that we feel this day disappear.

I know some of you ran as fast as you could directly to your own deaths, and that chokes me up beyond words. I have not, nor will I ever forget the actions you took that day.
