I looked around and couldn't find any info on this...
Can someone let me know where I need to go to participate in this test?

Let me give you a heads up, its not going to be as easy as it looks. A lot of people fail cpat. Make sure you train for it.

Yes, be in shape for it, but dont get too worried either. I passed it while having the flu. (no joke)

Call the sac facility. I'm sure they will know the close by lodging and probably one that will give you a discount. If not do a google search of the address then search lodging near there.

If I remember correctly, there are some newer "Micro-Tels" along the 5 freeway. Perfect for your CPAT vaation/experience.

I'm not much of a hotel person. I go for hostels. So here is my suggestion. http://www.norcalhostels.org/sac/

The CPAT is not difficult at all. I do not work out often at all and passed it in 8:06. That was after I flew accross the country a few hours before. Just don't make sure you dont fall of the stair machine and the rest is cake. Good luck

Again- I took the CPAT with the flu and passed. Because of being ill, I almost threw up at the end. Looking back, I kinda wish I did remembering that not so good feeling in my tummy.

Thanks
Again, thanks for the info guys. I've got my hotel reservation all set up and it's not too far from the testing facility. Have the orientation and practice on thursday and the actual test on friday. I'm beginning to think that I won't need the practice run..I guess it can't hurt though!
