Funny you should mention this. No... we have not been asked to go to Texas, we may be going back to LA. Everyone as been asked to stop calling the IEMA EOC. If we are requested it will come through proper chanels.

Sounds as if things are bad throughout the area. Fox is reporting alot of people trapped in Galveston, have to wait and see but I may be heading down with the ambulance if the request is made. Fuel up the decon truck Larry it may be a road trip south!!

Yup we got the same e-mail yesterday......looks like people were jamming up the lines trying to find out....not sure why they would call like that if we are called upon we will know

Exactly. Emergency personnel unofficially calling the state EOC to just ask if we are going to Texas should at least be reprimanded. To me that is like when the general public calls 911 to ask about something. Thats what forums like this is for.
