What would be the best way to get on at a department in St Louis County?
I'll need FF1&2 as well as my EMT-P. I'll be graduating with my bachelors in August, should I look into a fire science program at a community college, or are there departments out there that send you to an academy?

Get your paramedic stuff done first, then build some fire experience though a community college while you work as a medic somewhere. A paramedic license and experience is probably the most important skills you must have to get on a St. Louis County Fire Dept.
