I Got pushed from the 22 to the 29th, to as of today indefinite. Anyone else?

I was told in interview that I would be going either Oct. 6th or Oct. 13th. When I got offer letter it said Jan. 12th. I am getting the run around on why this happened. In your case I can see them having problems with the Houston facilities due to the hurricane.

They are having to push everyone back from Sep 15 down the line.

Guys, the money tree is beginning to fall. The contract may or may not be around for another year or so. Then again, it could be a couple of years. No one knows for sure. What we do know for sure is that this would eventually come to an end, downsize, or both. If you are a new guy thinking about heading over...think hard before you leave a good/bad job. You will probably be the first to go when cuts are made. Attrition (sp?), evals, and the good 'ol boy system will probably dictate the rest. It's a bunch of money to make in a year if you have something to return to.

I just faxed my certifications in 10-17-08. I am just wondering how long before they call? I am hoping I can go by the first of December. How long before they called you did they give you a deployment date? Thanks a bunch
