Are people expected to just show up and they take the first 700 positions? I am a little unsure of this process.

Applications had a cutoff date... they received so many by that date... only those that applied on time received letters for the test coming up in Nov.

I'll be there. Have to take a day off of work but it's worth it.

Got my letter over the weekend (after getting a call that they never received my app??). But, if I'm in the state, I will certainly try to make this exam.

Looking for a job, career EMT or Paramedic position in Pennsylvania near Philadelphia? Take a look at Second Alarmers Rescue Squad (SARS). They have decent pay and awesome benefits. They just tested November 13. Doubt it will be anytime soon.
