Per the last post on the whole helmet camera question.
I tried the so called "FIRE CAM" this website is selling the Oregon Scientific AT2k / ATC3K which you can get a lot cheaper. It does OK but the footage is just super low quality.
I run the Adrenaline Systems Ghost CAM II. It runs day and night which is great for night runs. I is powered at night by LED infrared as well as a very sensitive CCD. The resolution is just awesome. I hook it up to my DVR or camcorder and get some first class stuff.

Though it is mean for Extreme Sports. It is a real discovery which we have been using for the last year.
