    Default Training Prop Grant

I was wondering if anyone knew or had any information about a grant that would assist in the building of a training structure. I am sure this has been a topic before but couldnt find anything really.

USDA and HUD are the only federal programs that will fund construction projects. AFG will only fund mobile training props.

    Lightbulb Brians right.

I spoke with Bob Waters FEMA head out of Boston and asked him the same question, he replied there was no chance they would fund it. If its a town thing you wish to build, contact one of the big lumber guys (Home Depot, Lowes) to see if you can get materials for next to nothing in exchange for a lot of PR.

May also want to check with your state fire commission or the like. We have gotten a 4 story training tower, a smoke building, and a multipurpose building through grants from ours.

TCFP is limited to max $35k in assistance, combo of grant and loan. Nothing else in the state found so far other than private foundations. They're too far out of the Dallas UASI for anything related to true HS money, at least based on Mapquest.
