It's about time, but the Phillies just won the World Series in 5 games at home.
Brad Lidge stayed perfect to safe the game.
Way to go Phillies!

Just a little taste of what our brothers had to deal with. This is our newest piece, Ladder Tower 5. Placed in service about a month ago. They were responding to a call. Not a damn parage. It did receive damage. Engine 49 and Battalion 1 (seen in first clip) also sustained damage. I havent found pics or video of 49s yet.

All I know is that it must've hurt to have Ryan Howard hit you like he was sacking the QB. Best part about the Phils? They play AGAINST the Mets.

Shows you what spending all that money will do for a team George! (Also refer to the Yankees and Braves.)
I still don't know how Brad Lidge didn't get injured when Howard hit him while on his knees. All I could see at the bottom of the pile was no reliever for next year.Steve Dragon

I have been making the argument here for YEARS that middle sized market teams have exactly the same opportunity to have a winner that the large market teams do. This year absolutely proves my point. Tampa is a mid-market team. Milwaukee is a mid-market team.
It has as much to do with team chemistry that it does money spent.PROUD, HONORED AND HUMBLED RECIPIENT OF THE PURPLE HYDRANT AWARD - 10/2007.
