Default Holy Smokes! SNL might have gotten funny....

I haven't laughed at an SNL skit in several years, but I think the John McCain bit was pretty good.

For a Sunday chuckle here ya go:

The borrower is slave to the lender. Proverbs 22:7 - Debt free since 10/5/2009.

"No man's life, liberty, or property are safe while the legislature is in session." - New York Judge Gideon Tucker

"As Americans we must always remember that we all have a common enemy, an enemy that is dangerous, powerful and relentless. I refer, of course, to the federal government." - Dave Barry

The whole QVC thing made me laugh more during an SNL episode than I have since the days of guys like Dan Akroid, Chevy Chase, and Eddie Murphy.

How ironic that after doing the skit with him as an old man remininscing about his fellow castmates passing on,John Belushi was the first to go.
As far as I am concerned, that was the last time SNL was actually funny.Too often they poke fun at political figures that the writers do not agree with and never at the ones that they do.
That's the main reason I do not watch it.There's other more interesting shows on that late on Saturday night, not that I am home alone at that time.
