Last day for bickering
Last day for smears
Last day for empty promises and cheap politics
Last day for smoke, mirrors, and misguided attention
Here's hoping whoever wins, America strengthens, unites, and doesn't blow itself up.

So predictions for tomorrow, for next month, for next year if ______?
If Osamabama wins Dow drops 500pt tomorrow. Dow has strengthened in last couple of weeks as RINO McCain has finally shown he is/will be competitive and has a good chance of winning the election.
If McCain wins Dow gains 100pt. McCain is not a conservative so upside is TBD and market has already factored in a win.
If the wimp wins; firearm sales explode (really need a crystal ball to predict that). In the 1st 30days on the next congress dems retroactively void all firearms sales from Nov 4. Union thugs run rampant with their card check BS. Mass exodus of US military personnel from active duty. Marxism batters down your door.
If McCain wins; huge riots in Chicago and other large cities by the nonproductive members of our nation.

I feel whoever wins, their supporters nationwide will throw the win in the others face. Supporters of the runner up will bitch and moan like anything. I don't support a particular party. I try to look at each person as an individual. Policies they support, what they want to change etc.
If you always follow a specific party you're not really voting, you're just being led and are letting someone else make the decision for you. Doesn't matter if it's your family, union, or friends...vote for yourself, not as a sheep being led by others. Getting off the milkbox now.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to chime in on this before the election was over. You my friend are dilusional. The ads for the next election will probably start not long after the inaugaration. We are in for a long, long ride.
On this we agree. If we as a people are not collectively on our knees praying to whatever GOD we pray to asking that GOD protect this nation for others and from itself we are all fools. My knees hurt from a long night of praying for the new President, praying for this country and praying that the world does not implode upon itself. We should all do the same without delayHere's hoping whoever wins, America strengthens, unites, and doesn't blow itself up.To err is human, To forgive divine and at times I am as much of both as you will ever find

Here's what I am personnally going to do.
I am going to respect Pres. Obama as the Presdient of our country. I don't have to personally respect him and I will have no problem speaking out if I do not agree with him. But I will not disrespect him or the office he has attained like this:
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122584386627599251.html
I am going to continue to respect the electoral process. The people of the US have voted in large numbers. They have chosen the people they wish to lead them for the next few years in a democratic process that is the best in the world.
I am going to pray that everything that I have predicted or speculated on in these forums about an Obama administration has been wrong. It will make me very happy if he is able to do more than what he has promised.
I am going to continue to love this country as it is, by far, the best place in the world to live.
God bless America.PROUD, HONORED AND HUMBLED RECIPIENT OF THE PURPLE HYDRANT AWARD - 10/2007.
