I was hoping someone could help me out with a question. On the HUD on the face piece regulator for the Scott SCBA (not sure what model) there are the 4 LED lights that show you roughly where your air is at. Just to the right of those there is a "Scott" label and two little dots on either side of it. They look like LEDs but I've never seen them light up, so I'm not sure what they are.
A senior member was drilling me on some pretty tough questions about the inner workings of the SCBA, and that was one of them. He left it to me to find out the answer. I can't find it anywhere online. My best guess is they are light sensor for how bright the LEDs shine, but I'm not sure. Can someone help me out? What are those two little dots?
