I'm new here, and fairly new to fire fighting
I'm from a small town in New Hampshire, and in July joined our volunteer fire department..partly because I wanted to, and my husband has been on it since he was a kid, and his dad is the fire chief, and his mom is also on the department. It is a family affair here...
I just found out the other night that there is a FF1 class opening up in my area, so I am filling out the application for that and getting into shape for the course.
Once I complete FF1 I plan on becoming an EMT as well, seeing as how my dept is always looking for more.
any tips. tricks or pointers for me...send em my way!
