As most of you have heard, Steve "Tiny" Kline passed away at the firehouse yesterday. Below is the information related to the wake and funeral for him.

With great sadness, the Stone Park Fire Department and the Morris Fire Protection &
Ambulance District announces the passing of Firefighter/Paramedic Steve Kline, known
to many as “Tiny”, who passed away suddenly today (November 18, 2008). Steve was
37 years old and has been in the fire service for over 13 years. Steve was on duty
today at Stone Park when he became ill. He was transported by ambulance to Gottlieb
Hospital in Melrose Park where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Steve was well known throughout the area as well as the state for his work in the fire
service. His passing will touch many lives.
Services for Firefighter/Paramedic Steve Kline are being handled by U.C. Davis Funeral
Home. Visitation will be Sunday, November 23, 2008 from 2:00 pm till 8:00 pm with a
fire department walk through at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be on Monday,
November 24, 2008 at 10:00. The visitation and the funeral will be at the Morris Fire
Protection & Ambulance District’s Station 2 at 2301 Ashton Road, Morris, IL 60450.

Just a quick update. Sunday was the wake and the layout was absolutely perfect. The funeral home did a terrific job a recreating Tiny down to his **** eating grin. The FD walkthrough was well over 600 brothers & sisters from as far as FDNY (thanks Nate).
Tomorrow is the funeral and will be from the firehouse to the cemetery. Please feel free to attend to show him off well. For those of you that attended today and can't make tomorrow, thank you from all of us, it was appreciated.
