I was wondering if anybody had heard anything about the rest of the people on the list that didn't start in September.

hey lexfd21.... You are not the only one waiting for LFD. I was also on the infamous list and did not get hired in sept. I have not heard anything about our status but I am still optomistic. Hopefully everything will work out. As far as I know, the list is still valid.

I have talked to the fire department about a month or so ago and they said that the list was still valid, and they are trying hard to push for the new recruit class to start soon. It is good to hear that other people are still interested.

I have not heard rumors lately. I am just concerned about LFUCG wanting to change the retirement for new hires. I did hear that one of the new recruits got fired.

From what I have heard the retirement will not change. The fd is fighting that hard. And as for the list some higher up people are wanting to still higher us, and the list is valid for two years from the date it was created. So it should be good until Feb. 2010.
