    Question 1199A on AFG site

If you filled out a 1199A and returned it for one grant do they use it for all your grants? Just looked at the 1199A and it shows both grants we applied for it has both grant numbers at the top of the form Reference Award Number: EMW-2008-FO-xxxxx & Reference Award Number: EMW-2008-FO-xxxxx

Do you think that means we got both awards ?

    We only sent back 1- 1199 and 1 - 10Q's

The AFG will use the same 1199A for each grant, but seperate q's for each grant. You show 2 FO's, did you mean 1 FO & 1 FV?

Read an article where the department had a good save last week at a barn fire.

FO is a Fire Operations number, and FV is a Vehicle Acquisition number. If you did not apply for a vehicle, it's puzzling.

Are they for sure both 2008 #s, or is one a previous number? (2007, 2006, etc.), and are they both different? Match your 2008 application number up to the Reference Award Number.

I'm confused. You have two separate applications under one login? Or you have a 2008 application with two projects (PPE/Exhaust)?

By program rules, each Fire Department is allowed to submit only one application in the 2008 application period for each of the program areas in 2008. (Operations and Safety, Vehicle Acquisition, Regional Request)

FYI, per the Program Guidance: However, if an eligible applicant submits multiple applications in a single program area (for example two regional project applications for which they are a host or two Operations and Safety applications) we will deem all of the applications in that same program area to be ineligible.

Are both Award Numbers different? (EMW-2008-FO will be the same, but the 5 digit number following would be different for each award)

I don't quite understand this one.

The computer system won't even let that happen on submission. Something is not right. I hope the gurus can help you work through this.

I talked via Private Message with nuke911 last night and it does sound like he has a bit of a problem. Hopefully things work out.

It is rare, but has happened in the past. Probably a glitch in the system that sent it out, when it shouldn't have. Hopefully, it is just a mistake taking it away and it will reappear.
