The Blackhawk Fire Fighter's Association is once again hosting its Annual Firefighter Conference in Dixon, IL at Sauk Valley Community College January 10th and 11th.

There is a great line-up of low cost classes once again. Below are the classes and contact information to get signed up. Most classes are filling fast, especially the Sunday Class with Billy Goldfeder.

Last year, there were around 200-300 FF's from all over IL, WI and IA that attended. There will also be a spot for vendors during the event.

I just wanted to let everyone know that if you are still interested in coming to the Blackhawk Fire Fighter's Conference that the "Scared Straight" Class taught by Billy Goldfeder is nearly full on Sunday, January 11th. If you would still like to register, please shoot me an e-mail at dinges88@hotmail.com or by calling me at 815-857-2000 ASAP.

So far, we have nearly 400+ attendees registered for the 2-Day Conference and this looks to be the largest BFFA Conference of record.

Also, note many of the Saturday classes are also filling up fast and some have already been capped off.

There also is nearly 100 signed up for the dinner reception on Saturday night and that also will be capped off shortly. Please note, that Chief Goldfeder will be attending the dinner to address the visitors and as a meet and greet.

Make your reservations now for 2010, Retired Phoenix Fire Chief Alan Brunacini will be the Keynote Speaker next year.
