    Default Extra cab SCBA seat

I saw a photo in here a while ago with a third scba seat mounted in between the two seats but pushed back into the extended cab area, I believe on an International chassis. Can anyone help me locate it. Thanks in advance.

Here's something that I saw at a show. It's a third seat on a custom extended spartan chassis. Don't know if it's exactly what your looking for. A picture shows it at the bottom on this page. http://www.customfire.com/d_demo.php?id=410657daa7cc0

I am not sure but I believe the seat in question is in the new pumper from Pierce known as the Responder. This seat is available in both the IHC cab and the M2 extended cabs according to the literature I have seen.

Interesting concept, whats the go with getting in and out, is it easy or is it a case of climbing over people and seats to get out.

I have to agree. It looks like it wouldn't be much fun trying to get out on a big call, and loaded up for action.

A good concept, and it might work for smaller departments, but nothing beats a custom cab!

I have seen this arrangement on some Durastar chassis. Although it is a nice concept, I would love to see the interior of that cab after a couple of years, particularly the headliner. There is not alot of room between the floor and ceiling and geeting in and out with an SCBA will more than likely beat the heck out of that cab interior.

Slap some Briteplate on the headliner and good to go.
