hello, i had been searching about this and some of the info contradicts one another, not sure if some is older and its changed or what.. but i have my ffI getting ffII, i was wondering if you guys could please inform how you get your ifsac seals? or dod,proboard..
i know its probably been answered, and ive searched but im still quite confused..
Did you take an IFSAC accredited test?
i was wondering the same thing i got my 240 card at hocking college but i dont have any thing with an ifsac seal on it. does anybody know if hocking is an ifsac accredited course ? i assume it is since some people tell me it is like the next best thing besides the the academy
Ok, for the 900th time. The State of Ohio is not and IFSAC state. If you need or want and IFSAC card, you need to contact the State office. You can then go to Columbus and take another written test and do practical skills. I have been told this costs $150.
Is this the same for proboard certs here in Ohio?

Does this mean that maybe Ohio now is an IFSAC state then?
NO! You can test to get your certification after you get your State card.
Actually, if you received your certs prior to Dec 31, 2002, you can fill out a grandfather application and receive certifications w/ an IFSAC seal. You can apply for firefighter I & II, hazmat awareness , & hazmat ops.
thanks for all the replies.
ps, does anyone have any info on my other thread "Hazmat ops"?
