Default Ok Kid Put The Toys Down And Step Away Slowly

4-year-old tot breaks into Texas variety store

    Tuesday, December 16, 2008

(12-16) 03:32 PST Beaumont, Texas (AP)

Texas police responding to a store's burglar alarm found a less-than-hardened criminal inside: He was 4, and playing with the toys.

Detective Randy Stevens says the child apparently unlocked a door at his nearby home, got out, then crossed a street to reach the discount store.

Store surveillance video shows the unidentified boy trying one of the front doors to a Family Dollar store about 3 a.m. Monday, only to find it locked. But the second door was unlocked and the child went inside.

    That triggered the silent alarm.

"When the officers got there, he was showing them his toys," said Officer Crystal Holmes.

Child Protective Services says the boy will be allowed to stay with extended relatives while they review the incident.

SO! What was a 4yr old doing wandering around the Dollar Store at 3am anyhow???? Oh Wait. The story says "Texas".

Too bad the owner of the store wasn't there...he could've gunned that punk down by shooting him in the back with a registered firearm three or four times. I mean, that's totally legal in Texas, right?

He is from Jeff City. They're all jealous that we have Willie Herenton for a mayor.
It's either that or altitude sickness that makes him think everyone with a gun has the notion to shoot at children, even cops.

Well, after one thread here went for several pages with more than one person advocating how legal it was to shoot children in the back for entering someone's private property, I was just wondering. If you missed my meaning, then you're a bigger idiot than you think I am...hands down.

You can't lose what you never had. FyredUp proves every week that he's one of the biggest whiners on this forum.

    Yes. Yes he is.
Riiight. This from someone who advocated the wholesale slaughter of innocent women and children at the border with machine guns.

I can't help wondering why there was an unlocked door to the store...

nozz is an idiot. Everyone knows in Texas the maximum number of times you can shoot anyone under the age 8 is 2 times.

Didn't I read somewhere that after each shot you have to yell "YEEEE-HAWWW"?

Sorry I missed this, but better late than never.

Perhaps in your viewpoint I am the biggest whiner here at FH.com. I would much prefer that over your self righteous closed mindedness anyday.

Brett who? I don't even recognize football as a legitimate sport. Give me good old peaceful ice hockey any day.

The only enjoyment I got over the entire Brett Favre fiasco was watching all the guys go nuts over what was happening. Hell, there were shouting matches over how that was handled. I sat back and laughed over the idiocy of it all.
