I'm looking at overseas contract firefighting jobs and noticed that most companies require DOD certs for hiring. I was curious if they ever make exceptions to that rule, and also which companies besides Wackenhut accept IFSAC certs, (FF1 and 2, Haz Mat ops, etc.) Any info appreciated... Thanks, Jon

My advise is to send your resume to any Company or contract you are interested in, this is what I did and I got 2 other gigs after WSI. Get your name out there, and also look towards getting reciprocity for your certs from another accrediting agency.
Good luck
