Sorry, I just had to start this when I logged on and saw the top three threads on this board were all about which helmet is the coolest... That's kind of pitiful and embarrassing.

P.S. What kind of stickers do you guys like...

You gotta admit though ,,, there are some pretty heinous looking helmets out there .. To each his own ,, But at the end of 32 im sure ill be very happy that i got the leather I wanted early , im sure it will mean a lot to me when im much older and look at it and think that it was with me through all of it... Theres a reason that every respected Jake that ive worked with that retires proudly displays his helmet at home into retirement ..

I kind of equate it with how much of a beating buffs take at times for chasing fires and shooting photos ,, right up until the point the photos come out and the salt falls right off of some guys .. Then they want copies and its suddenly cool to be Into it... Everyones different ,, i just feel some guys painted themselves into a corner and cant suddenly act as though theyre really into some things .. imo,, whatever its worth..

some guys are into theyre own personal gear , its theirs . As expensive as some things are i can understand some guys trying to get a feel for what others like .. I guesse a search would work too,, lord knows the helmet / boots /glove /discussions have been thouroughly beatin into submission ..

couldnt imagine wearing my FREE Dept. issued rubber boots,,, oh wait , i do ,,, to sqeegeeoff the damn baseball fields before the yearly mda softball tourney,, because we all know without fail it will rain very hard the night before..
