Anne Arundel County

Does anyone know when Anne Arundel County will testing again? I know that they are putting through a huge academy class right now (120 recruits) which pretty much exhausted the list. I check the county website at least once per week. Any information would be helpful. Thanks!

Last test was held on May 29, 2008. My guess is that the next test could be anywhere from late 2009 to summer of 2010 but depending on the economy it's hard to tell. Also, from my experience, as long as you pass the written test, it doesn't matter what your score is. The interview score seems to be the only determining factor.

I took the test back in May. I had an interview, but due to the fact that I live 6 hours from AACo, it was impossible for me to go through the CPAT mentoring process. I took the CPAT 8 years ago for my current job, and thought it would be no problem...boy was I wrong. Needless to say I didnt pass the CPAT. Now I know what I need to do, so i am now waiting again for the test. I am also on the list for RC34 in Montgomery County and am also taking the test again for MontCo, just in case history repeats itself for me...haha... CooterRob, are you scheduled to take the MontCo test?

Nice! I am on the job in Geneva, New York, midway between Syracuse and Rochester. I've got to tell you, I was very impressed with Anne Arundel County...very nice area.

Tested in May, did the oral interview and was not selected for CPAT. I live about 3.5 hours from Anne Arundel County. I will hopefully like to attend their next test.

about mog county. was told the test was not going to happen until late this or maybe even next year. my info came form a email that was send to me about a month ago

about aa. there are on a hiring stop. it they do another class. the next class will come of the past test list. that list will be good until 2011 from what im told unless they go thru the whole list and then they would retest. my info came fomr the hr lady form aa county

Do you know if they are going to call back the people who failed the CPAT for the current class, if they consider another recruit class off the current list? I went over the time on the CPAT (by seconds).
