We originally wanted to put the bulldog on our Pierce chassis and took it off before the Mack left for Wisconsin but it was never mounted.

I believe under 700,000. Maybe less.

Darien, CT will follow suit of Pelham Manor and rechasis their 1971 Mack CF/Aerialscope onto a brand new Seagrave single rear axle chasis, withy brand new body, and refurbished/upgraded aerial, bucket, and hydraulics (to Aerialscope II standards) by Seagrave.

This was approved by the Town Of Darien this past Monday and the tower should be leaving for Seagrave in Wisconsin soon.

This marks the second apparatus of this type sold by Excelsior Fire Apparatus Sales.

Guys, I know this is an old thread, but does anyone have any feedback as to how this Scope is working out for the Manor? My Company is beginning the process to remount a 75ft. We are looking for some insight on Pelham's and Darien's remounts.

I would think that both trucks are working fine with a new chassis and larger axles for bigger brakes, SEAGRAVE & KME Fire Apparatus will remount ON A single rear axle chassis.

KME? Do you/anyone have any contact info for Darien or Pelham Manor?

Yes, the KME aerial plant in Roanoke, Va (703 ) 982-3573 has rebuilt the Baker Aerialscopes and will remount on a new single axle chassis cab. Pierce Mfg. will only mount on a dual axle chassis ! I do not have contact info of Darien or Pelham .

Very interesting, do you have a name of a department that had that done?
