I am interested in becoming a firefighter however I have run into some problems.
I started a personal business and invested $15,000 dollars of my savings into it. Unfortunately things haven't gone as well as I hope and now I am in debt a very substantial and unpayable amount of money. All of the debt is business related expenses. I never bought fancy Cars or T.V.s. It seems like my only way out is bankruptcy.
So my question is how badly will having a year old bankruptcy on my record affect my chances of getting employed as a FF?
