I Like my John Deere better than running it into other lawn tractors.

Most of the people that do those just buy older junk ones and kinda fix them up. It looks fun.

The house in back of mine has been foreclosed on and the last time I was over the fence retrieving crossbow bolts gone off target,I saw a 20 hp riding mower back there.
Hmm."Midnight Tractor Racing Team".Got a ring doesn't it?All I need to do is see what rattles off when I try to start it.

Ha, yeah it does. A friend of mine watched a tractor derby one time and they got pretty wild. They were flipping over, some people broke their ankles doing it. I can't believe they would let it get that out of control. I wouldn't get into one that wild. My uncle had a Kubota and he didn't like it at all. He finally got rid of it.

I've never heard of one in my area, but if I ever hear of one i'm going. I also think it would be neat to go to a school bus figure 8 race.

Not as much as it would be if the buses were actually loaded with their primary cargo.
In my area,we have buses that go faster the fewer kids they have on board. Why is that?Is there something in the genetic makeup of a schoolbus driver that makes them want to climb into a large yellow vehicle with only one set of seatbelts(for the driver)that has a number painted on the side and see if they can get the thing up on three wheels in a turn?

It is the complete opposite in my area, with no kids on they go as slow as they can. There was one I used to get behind all the time, it never got over 20MPH, that was on a flat and mostley straight county road.

You know why the sardine cans go faster with the kids on there? The drivers want to get those hoodlums off as fast as they can!

They go slower to delay the same kids from getting back on for the ride home!

Then they go fast once again.

Back when Memphis hired the bus drivers as city employees instead of contracting it done, the drivers would pen up their frustrations with us until Friday and THEN they would go as slow as possible.Cement mixers would pass us with the driver screaming, "For God's sake, pick it up!"
I had that same policy when I was a cox'n driving the Liberty boat in the Navy:"Wanna stay out here in the rain or get back to the ship?Your choice, guys.Stay as rowdy as you want.I'm on duty til 0600."

    Default How times have changed.....

Mike was going to be married to Laura, so his father sat him down for a little
chat. He said "Mike, let me tell you something. On my wedding night, I took off my pants, handed them to your mother and told her to try them on. She did and said 'they're too big, I can't wear them.' I told her 'exactly.. I wear the pants in the family and I always will.' Ever since that night we have never had any problems."
Mike thought it was a good thing to try. On his honeymoon Mike took off his pants and told Laura to try them on. She did and said "these are too large, they don't fit me". Mike told her "exactly,.. I wear the pants in the family and don't forget it"
So Laura took off her panties and said "here try mine". Mike did and said "I can't get into your panties"
Laura said "exactly! and if you don't change your smart ars attitude, you never will!"
