I may be wrong , but I don't think that you can get a voice amp. on an
AV2000. I am certain that you can on an AV3000.

I had no idea that was an option for an AV2000. I stand corrected.
    My apologies to the OP.

Why a 2000? You can get a 3000 for about the same money. T.C.

I personaly can't stand the way the AV3000 mask fits. Since all of our new packs are comming with them now, I bought my own AV2000 off eBay for around $100 brand new with the sticker on the glass.

And to further complicate things, both Regular and Comfort Seal models are available in Rubber or Silicone. So you actually have 4 styles of large AV2000's.

And as for voice emmitters, yes, they work on AV2000's or 3000's. It uses an adaptor to allow it to fit on both.

Ebay is definatley your best bet, but without an account, yes, that could be an issue. I am not an expert on PayPal, but if there is a mask you want on Ebay, i dont see why for example i could not bid on it for you, and then if i win, just pass your email info along to the seller and you could pay him with PayPal?

Ill do that for you if you need me too.

You're in a very small select group then (I have yet to meet any members of your group though). AV3000 is much superior in every way to the 2000. Price difference is $10 (Not $100). Only FD buying 2000 are those using old style voice amps/brackets.

If you're buying new packs, and for some reason want them, you can still order with 2000s. The masks (and cylinders) are ordered seperately from the pack from Scott. You can get however you want it. Pretty much like ordering a old flathead V-8 in your Mustang or a 750gpm front mount on your new 1st out pumper. But whatever floats your boat.
