it is kind of comprehensive from what i can tell. it covers afg, as well as several other grant classes. i know the gentleman from the illinois fire store that hosts these classes and he is very knowledgeable and thurough on grants. i am with the host department for the elkville class date and am looking forward to it from the info i have seen. it looks well worth the couple of hours your in class

Elk is exactly right. We are covering several topics on grants and alternative funding but the main focus will be over AFG. Unfortunately there's just not enough time to cover every program out there, but we'll be sure to mention as many as we can.

As for the dates, every class is the same, it is just repeated in several locations so we can try and cover more areas througout the state. The classes are open to anyone and there is no cost to attend. I will be doing about half of the classes and the other two guys are splitting up the rest. I'm pretty sure Nick is the one that will be down in Elkville so sorry I won't get to see you down there!

    Matt:

Ryan is right, I am planning on doing the Elkville class with Jeff and look forward to seeing all of you guys!

If anyone has questions, feel free to give us a call at 815-857-2000 or shoot me an e-mail at dinges88@hotmail.com.

We have been doing these classes for 3 years and they are well attended and people seem find the information useful. We don't claim to be experts, but we have been very successful in helping departments in Illinois, Iowa, and Indiana receive funding for numerous Fire and EMS projects.

Thank you again and stay safe!

    Sincerely,

    rfd599
