Don't bet the farm on it!

I could see that being beneficial and safer in certain applications.

Will it totally revolutionize the world's fire service?? No. I don't think it will replace the fire service as we know it today, not even close. That robot will be just another tool in our tool box.

Where is the goldleaf, Q-siren, and roto-ray!!!

This would never happen until they address these important issues.
I am now a past chief and the views, opinions, and comments are mine and mine alone. I do not speak for any department or in any official capacity. Although, they would be smart to listen to me.

Maybe things like adequate recruitment, training, staffing, updating equipment for the resources we already employ rather than R2D2 with a duece and a half should be a priority? Couse doesn't have nearly the pizzazz of stcking a half million$$ or more robot into the fire when News at ( is on scene. Just watch, some jughead politician will get this in after closing 2 or 3 halls.
