Default Phenix Vs Paul Conway Leather

Ok i am not sure if i am putting this in the right spot so sorry if it is. However i am getting ready to purchase a leather helmet, i have narrowed it down between a Phenix TL2 and a Paul Conway. The delima is that the Paul Conway is a little heaver were as the phenix is not, and the paul conway has a thin fiberglass layer in between the leather. So my question is, does the phenix have that required NFPA layer of fiberglass, or kevlar..?? any help would be greatly appriceated due to i dont want to buy a helmet and go into a situation to were it can get me..injured. Thank you.

I have both helmets and both are NFPA compliant. The Phenix has no "hard shell" since the helmet has developed it's nice curl to the brim, whereas the Paul Conway is the same it was when I first got it.

The Phenix has a more comfortable suspension for me but I get a more secure racheting system with the Paul Conway.

I personally love my TL2 and never want to wear another helmet. That being said, the people I do know who have the conway did not want to give me back my helmet after trying it on. I have never tried a conway on though.
