Is it worth it to take this test if I only have my EMT cert?

I'll answer your question with a questions.
Why would it not be worth it as an EMT? There are a number of reasons to take the DRCOG if you're not a Medic.

I was under the impression that most of the depts that hire off of that list look for EMTs.
Have you heard otherwise?

I have to fly out there from TN to take the test, so its somewhat of a financial investment. And I will have my EMT done by June, but I just remember someone telling me when I took it last June that it wouldn't be worth my while.
